Thank You Voters!
From the School Board, administration and staff of the Everton R-3 School District comes a genuine and heart-felt thank you for passing the tax levy increase. This increase will allow us to maintain the quality of education for your children that our high expectations have conditioned us to work for. Instead of worrying about making cuts for our school to survive, we can now plan for what we need to offer your children four, five, even six years down the road.
Thank you for allowing us to work with your children. Thank you for helping them understand the concept of "high expectations." Thank you for giving them the love and nurturing they need. The end result will be a generation of achievers and problem solvers.
When you can, pick up a copy of the April issue of "417" magazine so you can show it to your friends. In this issue our little school is rated 3rd best out of 38 class 1A and 2A schools in southwest Missouri for preparing our students for life after high school! As we also won the coveted "Distinction in Performance" award again, you can see you have plenty to brag about to your friends.
Not long ago I witnessed a recent Everton graduate receiving the wrong change from a convenience store clerk. The clerk said "don't blame me. I went to school at (big school)." Our graduate said, "well, if you would have went to school at Everton, you would have gotten it right the first time!"
Thank you patrons. You got it right the first time.
Sincerely,
Chuck Adams, Superintendent
