Title I Family Literacy Night

“The Red Carpet Book Caper”

RedCarpet.jpg

Come out Tuesday night March 3rd, from 7:00 pm to 8:00pm for a family night of reading and fun.  We will meet in the library at 7:00 to begin our evening of suspense.  Children and parents will work together to find a mystery book using a variety of clues.  Once found the parents and children will read the book together and parents can help kids take an AR test on the book. This will give parents a chance to see how the AR program works. After the mystery is solved, kids and parents will have the chance to explore the “Lights, Camera, Action”, Book Fair.  Title I reading students will then have the opportunity to pick out a free book from the Book Fair, up to a $5 value.  Snacks and handouts will be provided.  Hope to see you there to help solve “The Red Carpet Caper”.
